Mariah Kirstie is an American actor born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Mariah knew she wanted to act before she could even intellectualize it as an actual career choice. From a young age she fell in love with cinema and become enamored of great actors & filmmakers’ ability to make her feel a part of something greater than herself, vowing to someday do the same. As a preteen she studied at Amazing Grace Conservatory, however, it wasn’t until she was attending St John’s University in pursuit of a degree in journalism that she realized acting was the only career path she wanted to pursue.
Since then she’s studied Meisner (along with many other acting techniques) and improv, while starring in Los Angeles theater productions. She made her transition into television/film with the lead role in 2016 Amazon Prime indie drama “The Track”. It is around this time she first attended an AMAW class and fell in love with Anthony’s non method methodology, leaving fulfilled in a way she hadn’t and still hasn’t experienced in any other acting class. AMAW has helped birth in her a true since of freedom in her work. While teaching is still new to her, she is excited and passionate about sharing her expertise with fellow actors.
