Anthony Meindl is an award-winning writer and director. He is the Guest Directing Lecturer at David Lynch’s Masters in Filmmaking Program in Iowa, and also taught at the prestigious Moscow Art Theatre, The Gaiety Theatre, Dublin, The Danish National School of Performing Arts, The Actor Centre, London and has taught in Berlin, Rome, Helsinki, Brussels, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, New Zealand, Honolulu and Suva, Fiji. And has had acting studios in 10 cities all over the world (including New York, Atlanta and Vancouver) during his last 25 years in the business.

As a director, his feature film, WHERE WE GO FROM HERE, premiered at Outfest, won ‘Best Screenplay’ at Q-Films Long Beach and the ‘Jury Award’ at NYC’s East Village Queer Film Festival and was acquired by HULU.

His short films have played everywhere, including the Provincetown International Film Festival, The Dumbo Film Festival, Santa Cruz Film Festival and won a number of awards, including ‘Best Short Film.’

He is in post production on his latest feature called MEMENTO MORI that explores the climate crisis with interlocking love stories that take place all over the world. The production filmed in Namibia, South Africa, India, Greece, Taiwan and Canada last year.

As an actor he performed at the legendary Hollywood Bowl and can be seen on Jack Whitehall’s Netflix hit show, Travels with My Father.

He is the author of 5 creative/acting books – including the best-selling At Left Brain Turn Right.

The script for his upcoming feature film, THE WONDER GIRLS, was the Grand Prize Winning Feature Screenplay in the Slamdance Film Festival Competition.
