Based on the novel, the show follows the investigation of mysterious citywide fires, the downtown music scene, and a wealthy uptown real estate family fraying under the many secrets they keep. The two chat about rediscovering the spark for acting, dismantling rejection, overcoming imposter syndrome, and the toxicity of comparison in social media. City on Fire premiers May 12th on Apple TV+.
