Liliana De Castro has been an actor since as long as she can remember. Starting in a theater production at the age of 8, she has never looked back. Having lived in more than 7 countries and having the chance to study and work as an actor in most of them, she has honed in a unique perspective on various forms of artistic and cultural expression. She studied Dramatic Arts in college and had the privilege of being part of two of the biggest theater companies in Brazil for over two decades. With that, her love for the craft and the investigation of various forms of storytelling grew exponentially. Curiosity and willingness to learn more drove her into film and television. After having worked in many successful television shows and films in Brazil, she decided things were getting uncomfortably comfortable and made the choice to challenge herself yet again moving to the US. She has bridged her skills and experiences into a unique multi-cultural point of view of storytelling. Being also trained in Alba Emoting technique, her goal is to help more and more people be able to share their hearts and stories with the full breadth of emotion and experience that we, as humans, are capable of.
She became an actor because her form of expressing her thoughts and emotions came through dancing, singing and telling stories with her full body. She remains an actor because she is incessantly curious about uncovering the layers that make us uniquely human.
