Yes, only if you don’t have the means to join an in-person acting class. Any acting class will be beneficial in developing your craft whether online or in-person. However, in an online acting class, you run the risk of experiencing barriers; barriers between you and your scene partner, your peers in class and your instructor. Going to acting class is not only about becoming a better actor but also connecting with others and building relationships. All scenes thrive off the exchange of energy between 2 actors and that energy can sometimes be hindered when there’s a physical barrier (the screen). Keep in mind that set is not online. So try your best to join an in-person class if you can and get out of your comfort zone!
